Alaska Cotton Grass
Finally arrived at the footbridge to McCarthy. We took a detour into the Kennicott riverbed and walked out to the terminus of the Kennicott Glacier.
In big places like this I always make a point to not ignore the beautiful scenes right under my nose. Before crossing the footbridge back I took some shots of some small pools near the river with the remnants of old bridges.
