Quiet Boreal Nights

Early on the night of March 17th the aurora came out to play. I sat and waited for a while. Beautiful intermittent displays early in the night developed into a monster of a show early the next morning. I'm feeling a bit bummed that winter in the Alaska interior is already coming to an end . . . the temps have made it into the +40's [F] the last couple of days!
