Walking down a narrow path in a dense boreal forest at sunrise when the air is at dewpoint can make for some interesting lighting conditions. I was walking in the other direction, but when I turned and saw the fog moving through the trees a few hundred meters away I decided to doubleback. There wasn't much time, the fog was lifting and clearing as fast as the Sun was rising. I managed to get a few unique shots in this awesome setting before the fog was gone. I chose to present these three together since each displays an individuality in contrast and texture due to the dynamic light and lifting fog, even though they were taken only a few moments apart, leaving each image with a distinct mood.
