The Mastodon Dome is a 4418 ft (1347 m) dome in the White Mountains of Alaska, south of the Steese Highway near Eagle Summit. There is a 12-mile out-and-back hike to the top of Mastodon Dome with fantastic vistas, as the entire hike is above the tree line. Wildflowers are plentiful in June and July.
