Running in a criss-cross pattern with the Milky Way is a faint band of light known as the Strong Thermal Emission Velocity Enhancement (STEVE). I barely caught this, as it showed up on UAF GI all sky camera so I ran out to get a shot. Is was brightest near the horizon, blocked by trees from my location.
