We recently had 2 back-to-back winter storms. It started with 12 inches of snowfall, turning into rain, wind and nearly +40 degree F weather. It cleared for a few hours before another 15 inches of snow fell at our house. We lost power for 26 hours and have many trees down in the yard. I took the snowshoes out to walk around the trails in the yard yesterday. There was hardly any sign of the trails, despite them having been well-worn before the storms. Now it's January, and cold. At least we are getting a break from the precipitation!
