Holes in the Toe
Depressions in the deteriorated ice fill with water on the toe of the Canwell Glacier. The rock cover is only a few inches thick in most high spots.
South Wall
Looking at the southern edge of the Canwell Glacier and into the Rainbow Basin. The Glacier up high there was once a tributary to the Canwell.
Northern Edge
It's been getting trickier getting on the ice from the northern moraine as this canyon has been getting deeper every year. There was a lot of water in it this time too.
Canyon
This little canyon on the north side of the Canwell has been getting deeper. It's a bit more difficult to get on the ice tongue now from the big southern moraine.
