The aurora borealis over a snow-covered forest lit by a nearly full moon in Fairbanks, Alaska. It wasn't the best aurora I've ever seen, but it was undoubtedly some of the best scenery that I've witnessed.

A magic place
Kate and I were walking the dog in the woods a few days before. She stopped because she thought this spot was just magical. When I was out shooting aurora I stopped to get a bit of the lights through the trees. I think she is right.
