June - White Mountains
Someone had built up a particularly cool-looking cairn near the overlook off of US Creek Road. The light was really cool - some gaps in the clouds illuminated the mountains a bit while there were thunderstorms to the west and more rain to the east.
A little rain, a little light. Taken off of US Creek Road.

Nome Creek View
I took the dog for a walk in the White Mountains. This is the view from the Nome Creek Trail, accessed from US Creek Road (off the Steese Highway). It was kind of a gorgeous day, beautiful blue skies mixed with thunderstorms.
I managed to quickly grab the caribou leg from the dog the moment he picked it up. We know from experience that it does not help his already bad breath.
Small stream crossing on the Nome Creek Trail. Still a bit of snow. The cold water felt good on my feet.
