Clouds and deep blue sky reflections between the trees. The water is pretty high from all the rain.
Lots of water plants, lots of green!
The water is a little high with all the rain this year. Usually I can walk out to the far edge of those grasses. It was very pretty, but now we are well into August and I'm feeling pretty done with the mosquito season.
Pond Reflection
This is a small pond just off of Sheep Creek Road near Smith Lake in Fairbanks. We drive past these little ponds all the time and don't think much about them because they are everywhere. I need to take some time to really think about that . . . I don't stop in these beautiful places because this is a sight we find everywhere. I think it's time to slow down and explore everything.
