Water and Ice

Color and texture are my favorite elements in a photograph. Water and ice seem to possess a never-ending range of those elements. They are such simple things that we experience every day. This gallery attempts to showcase the infinite variety in patterns that exist in snow and ice that often go unnoticed. Ten percent of profits on prints and licenses from this gallery will be donated to the Sierra Club Foundation, "helping to promote climate solutions, conservation, and movement through a powerful combination of strategic philanthropy and grassroots advocacy." You can read about my "Water and Ice" photos on my blog,, or view the gallery here.

Alaska Marine Life

Alaska has about 6,640 miles of coastline, with an estimated tidal shoreline of over 45,000 miles. Living on those shores and waters are thousands of species of marine mammals, fish, octopus, crustaceans, sea birds, and other marine animals. This gallery is dedicated to the wildlife living on those shores and in the water. The Alaska SeaLife Center has fallen on difficult times from low attendance due to COVID-19 and may be forced to close its doors permanently this fall. I'll be donating 20% of the profits from sales of prints and licenses directly to the SeaLife Center. Read more about the SeaLife Center on my website:, or view the gallery here.
