I've been thinking about fall a lot lately . . . going through old photos and trying to think of ideas for my favorite and shortest lived season this year. I'm thinking Gates of the Arctic. Or maybe I'll jump the border and head to Kluane in the Yukon. Anyway, here's a simple one from a narrow trail through spruce at UAF. There was a fog starting to lift, just above the trees. When the sunlight hit it the mist lit up and shed some golden light through the narrow opening.
